Würde mich freuen mal wieder ein paar schöne Fischen zu sehen

Great looking fish!!! Congratulations!!! All three species look like they were caught on my side of the big water!!! The fish in the first photo is what we call a walleye here. The second looks an awfully lot like a northern pike. And the third is what we call a yellow perch. The walleye and yellow perch are considered to be two of the finest fish for eating that we have. What do you call them there?

the spotted Bass an the striped bass are really good looking. I only caught these species on my Playstation while playing a game
In America there are much more species especially Bass, and on your photographs they also look like if they were goog fighters, aren´t they?

I wish that someday I can catch one of these "exotic" species.

I´m sorry for mistakes in my text but my schooltime is already some years ago.

Petri zu den schönen Fischen. Besonders gut gefällt mir die Art und Weise, wie Du die Fische präsentierst. :+++: Da kann man ja sonst zuweilen Bilder sehen, die einem kalte Schauer über den Rücken laufen lassen! :twisted:

Und: Der Hecht ist ja wunderschön gezeichnet! Solch kräftige Farben haben die bei uns hier nicht, sind da eher etwas blasser.....

Ich würde ja auch ein paar Fotos einstellen, nur leider bin ich nicht so der Fotograph und die paar Bildchen, die es von mir mit Fisch gibt sind eh schon irgendwo hier im Forum...

everytime i see the catch-photos from usa, australia, new zealand or australia i felt a little jealous. But your species-translation was right. The first pic is what we call a zander (walleye), second is a hecht (pike) and the third is a barsch (bass), it is the small brother of your striped and pointed bass.

Each of our areas has wonderful fish to catch. I look at the photos of fish caught where you live and wonder what it would be like to fish there. I would really like to fish the Baltic Sea. All of the fish in my photos were good fighters. I live in north Georgia. The fish that we most often like to catch are the striped bass, largemouth bass, spotted bass, rainbow and brown trout, and catfish. There are others, but those seem to be the most often sought.

I really enjoy seeing and reading the posts on your forum and sharing a little from our side of the big pond. Best wishes to all of you in the coming year. May you have tight lines and big fish in your kayaks!!!
